My Internet has been extremely slow today and I'm frustrated; I want to slam the mouse.So when your Internet is slow do you get mad? I remember when I had Dial-up and you could basically take a good nap and wake up and the page would almost be loaded.
It annoys me even though it happens so rarely. Take a break if it's getting annoying... you should only be annoyed if it happens regularly and you aren't getting what you are paying for.
Yes it does very much. I wish we had Verizon FIOS *drools*. I dislike my ISP a lot now because I have fallen victim to traffic shaping most likely do to my excessive bittorrenting. They've always been doing it, like where I would get 300 kbs down and 80kbs up tops, then for a while they lightened up and my max was 500 kbs down and 80kbs up, but now its way down to 30 kbs down and 30kbs up :(
I got T1 and I'm loving it! If you can tolerate 56k. then I admire you, because that stuff sucks, there was no way I, or anyone I know, could tolerate it, the second High-speed internet was available, my family just POUNCED on those deals.
i used to have a 56k, and i nearly threw my computer out the window. but yeah, they did bother me. if i had the money, i'd have all my wiring be fiber optics. then i'd be faster than all of you :D
When I was home on leave, I was forced to use my dad's 56k dial up connection. While it felt somewhat similar to my idea of what being brutally gang-raped by ogres would feel like, my solitare skills were considerably honed. I managed to play 2 games before my myspace page would be half way loaded.
When my dial-up is actually WORKING properly, I've learnt to become patient with it.....so I guess I'm use to it. But on the other hand, it kills me that I have a severe inability to download all the anime I want :P
Well, my computer is really fast, so when I'm at other people's house and I go online to a slow internet, it gets aggravating. I'm spoiled when it comes to fast connections :|
