Richey Edwards was the guitarist for Manic Street Preachers (even though he couldn't play) but disappeared 13 years ago but his body was never found. Do you think he is alive or dead?

What do you mean he was the guitarist but couldn't play?

And if someone was missing for 13 years, I'd just assume they were dead.

He often wrote the lyrics for the band and was more of a spokesperson. They all grew up together and kind just did the band together despite his inability to play. When they played live he had his amp turned off and would often jump around and get drunk until finally trashing the stage.

Why wasn't he able to play though? Did he have some physical handicap?

More out of lazyness. He did want to play but couldn't really learn. In the mental institution he learned a little using Nirvana chord books and in they could turn his amp just a little bit to, as James was quoted saying "make some noise" but he wasn't good at all. Was more a good showman than a good musician.

Alive, just like Tupac.
