do women have something against beards?

im considered good looking and i dont want to say more so i dont go over board it. anyway the thing is, ive started to grow a beard, not that thick huge one, but its good and i like it. i have zero experience with women and dont get me wrong i dont want to be invovled in a relationship or anything since im not planning on getting married now, but the question is, do women hate beards? or its just a matter of taste? i just want to make sure im not being looked down by women :roll:

I personally don't like beards. They're scratchy and can get extremely dirty, and I can only imagine how annoying it must be to kiss someone with a beard. :x

there will be some that do like it, and some that don't, but there will probably be more that don't care..

well depends on the degree of "beardiness" very few women like long or longish facial hair ,but most of them love the 5'o clock shadow.

Most women like stubble on dudes. Some don't though. Same with anything else.

Just as long as you remember to maintain it, you'll be fine. It's a bad sign if your beard is so unkempt that people give you spare change because they think you're homeless. If it gets to that point, give it a trim.

Hairy men in general in America is on the downside of things.. It's just not fashionable anymore to be hairy.

I've seen two conflicting reports on the subject.. one that says men with beards are more succcessful and another that says men with beards are less likely to have sex.

I don't know about the majority, but my girlfriend likes them.

I grew a thick one when I was younger. Can't say many women liked it, but some did. It depends on the woman. I grew it because that is what I wanted, regardless of what people thought. Just go with what you like for now,. You'll change your look in time, when you feel like something new.

im doing good with a beard.. not a full santa beard, more a action packed action hero not shaved for 2 weeks beard

I have a goatee and I've gotten compliments from women on it. Actually, the only person I've found who's not a big fan of it is my dad.

I know a few women who like me with a beard. They say I look mature. :oops:

And I should clarify. It might not be a full beard... it's more like scruff, but a clean scruff.
