I can't speak for all women, but I don't mind a little facial hair on guys. It's just that when it gets over a couple days without shaving, it's kind of rough when you kiss a guy and their cheeks and jawline are very scratchy, itchy and hurts my lips. It's like kissing a cactus. And, I'm not really big on full grown beards. Don't worry! Some girls out there find it really super sexy.

Women who say they don't like beards are jealous that they don't have one.

I personally don't like beards. They're scratchy and can get extremely dirty, and I can only imagine how annoying it must be to kiss someone with a beard. :x

Depends on the grizzliness of said beard. If it's short, women might like the little tickle it gives them. If it's a full-blown "Grizzly Adams" beard, then yeah, I can see your point. I'd imagine a longer beard would stink somewhat too...

I'm going with the girls of OT so far who say no to the facial scruff. I don't mind the stubble and the goatee look -- just the look. But I prefer clean shaven any day all day!Sajedene

I have a really poor excuse of a beard, because I don't shave much it doesn't grow longer than it is now or thicker, but I think I look far better with it than without.

And, you know, I'm super sexy 8) so too bad ladies. It stays!

Some people look better one way or the other- with or without facial hair, so a woman will probably prefer it if you stick with what actually makes you look better. If it's a beard then keep it clean looking and trimmed/short.

I dislike lone mustaches and goatees but I suppose those come into play too. Again, whatever you look best with. Or whatever you actually prefer but hey, I'm shallow.

Well you're the hawt exception, obviously. But I don't know what it is about goatees... I don't know. They make me feel strange. Which makes no sense.

im considered good looking and i dont want to say more so i dont go over board it. anyway the thing is, ive started to grow a beard, not that thick huge one, but its good and i like it. i have zero experience with women and dont get me wrong i dont want to be invovled in a relationship or anything since im not planning on getting married now, but the question is, do women hate beards? or its just a matter of taste? i just want to make sure im not being looked down by women :roll:

He's hot with a beard. But some men can't pull them off. I hate it when a guy tries to grow one and it's scraggly and splotchy. Just wait until you're old enough. I think my boyfriend looks good when the hair is all over his neck, but it itches and he gets irritated and keeps his neck shaved usually. As long as the beard stays, I'm happy. :P

Even if you follow her advice to a "T" she'll find something to complain about until you just give up and shave it off. The truth is she doesn't like beards, but feels she's manipulative if she says that.

seriously its not like that at all.

whether one likes it or not, the social norm is for women to be essentially hairless except for their scalp, and its normal for men to be hairy (why some men shave their chests is beyond me...).

As for bears, yea, beards are fine so long as they are in moderation.

This is Jack Passion; he has grown a beard as a statement, and to win contests and generally just for fun I imagine. However, outside of the fame it has brought him, I think most women would not like it

A beard such as the one below, however, is modest and more widely accepted.

Youre gonna meet women who dont like bears of any kind, but most women can tolerate and even admire a modest beard.

i dont know, i like my beard so far, and i feel that it gives me an overall "aura". i mean when i stare at someone he immediately losses to me and look the other way :P people are telling that i look mature and a real badass with it, so im sticking with it. i have a quiz now :( GazaAli
