Do you actually laugh out loud when you type lol?

There are a lot of people who write "lol" without actually laughing out loud!

Are you one of those?

I usually don't laugh. I just smile or something

I usually only use it when i have honestly laughed out loud, thoe i also use lol if something made me smile.. but i would never use it just for the sake of it.

Yes, I lol. There's a way to spell a chuckle, it's, "heh."

For me lol would be snickering.

i must say i have over used and cheapend "lol" i amashamed of the way i misues it, i used to add lol in almost every sentence, till i got a life, now i use it only when i actually laugh

I say Lol when something is funny, but I usually use ROFL when I'm actually laughing.

Yes, once in a while someone will make be literally lol (wow. that's a mouthful)

Most of the time I put lol if I smiled at something. I put the :lol: when I truly laughed out loud.

if i smile or smirk, i type "lol".

if i find something funny enough to actually laugh, then you get one of these:

"ahahahahhaha"

i think it more effectively expresses the laughter.

I don't engage in the literal or the textual. If I ever do "laugh out loud", it would be for my own private amusement.

I never tyoe"lol", I always use ":lol:" if something really gets me to laugh. ;)

When I say "lol" it's more of a "I recognise that it's a funny statement, but it's not actually laugh out loud-able".
When I say "rofl" I'm "lol"ing.

I rarely if ever write "lol". The closest I get is the "lol" emoticon. ":lol:".
