but Europe has exaggerated and nullified any benefits of it's Superior (highly debatable) educational system.

The American public education system needs restructuring and more funding, however i would not base it on European systems.

yet America is still top in technology and engineering, the rest of the world is not seeing benefits from this supposed superior education.

Most politicians do stick to their beliefs. The politcal system requires compromise, sometimes it is not possible for us to pass a bill wothout conceding a little ground. It can create the appearance that we do not have strong convictions, when the opposite is usually the case. John_Boehner
