Why should I apologize? I'm not apologizing for squat!:x In fact, it should be the other way around. You can't expect a forum made up of God knows how many users to exist and not have lots of arguments. And then you can get moderated for "annoying" people. Give me a break.
Umm, no. If I break the ToA then the mods should act on that. Doesn't mean I care what they think about my post any more than I care what a level 1 or 1000 poster thinks.
Nope. I've only had three moderations in the two years that I've been here as a member. All three where when I first became a user of the forums within the first two months. I haven't had any since. I understand why I was moderated and have no hard feelings about it. I tend to follow the rules therefore I have nothing to apologize for.
saying sorry is just bargaining. mods don't make the rules, they enforce them. apologizing is trying to appeal to mods to not give you "a ticket". it's just like saying, and as useless, as apoligizing to cops: "sorry I was speeding under influence :(" they don't care. Or maybe it makes them feel warm and fuzzy n_n, but I doubt that -_-
Nope. Hell I dont even apologise IRL unless it is severe and I am really sorry for it and not saying it to give someone an inflated sense of self importance.
Hell no. The first time I got modded it was because I wanted to sell my wii, so I went on the wii board and asked where I could sell besides gamespot because it's only store credit not cash. I also said that the wii is a great system, but it's not for me. 10 minutes later I got modded for trolling.
I've apologized on the forums to a mod, after I said something that was kinda insensitive. I wasn't afraid he would mod me or anything, i was just being nice. He's one of my favorite "friends" now.
But even if I did feel like sending one, I still wouldnt because I am sure mods will be receiving all sorts of PMs from various users and my PM would be regarded as nothing more than yet another sucking up PM in their inboxes even if thats not my intention.
