I've gotten pissed at my local EB. I go to put a preorder on the COLLECTORS EDITION of a game, which I clearly state when I start the preorder, and when I put more money down on the preorder. But when the game ends up coming out I get the regular joe-schmo edition. I've argued this a few times with the employees, but they say that in the computer I'm down as having a regular edition. I tell them that every time I bring up the game in question I say "I want to put money down on the collectors edition of gears of war." Then they give me this blank stare, well we have you down as having the normal edition. /blog
I talked to one of them about the Yankees yesterday and corrected him about something he said. He said something pretty dumb and I just wanted him to know because he was talking out of his ass.
It did once, the guy was a *** and gave me the wrong change, so I walked out , and he said he was going to call mall secruity, I said it was his fault and maybe if he wasn't an *** he would get this money bakc and got out of the mall and drove away
funny this topic came up... I'm 20years old.. I look older than 20.. maybe 25.. except for my height. im 5'7".. so i went to a gamestop yesterday trying to find Tekken dark resurrection(no store in queens ny has this game anymore for some strange reason).. so i just said F it and i figured i'd get a PS2 game.. i had my eye on MKArmageddon, Ghost recon AWF, or.. some other game.. forgot what it was. so I went with MKA.. (i hate female cashiers.. they always follow the stupid rules.. they should work for gamespot) .. so the chick asked me for ID.. when my black azz look older than her. she said she cant sell it to me because its rated M.. lmfao.. but thats not the store around my way.. i dont think the one around my way would check for ID.. that is one stupid law.. I hope hiliary never gets elected.. Obama for President!!

Not really. Most of the time the people working at the ones I go by know what they're talking about....until they start talking about the PS3. It's like they are lobbying against it. Some of the things are just out there..

every gamestop i went to has the same service.. BAD!. they all have bad service.. they keep you waiting on line for atleast a good 20minutes until they're done with a customer and they usually have one cashier working at a time.. only reason they got customers is because of their prices on used games and you could sell your games.

The sad fact is, it is a strict law now. I will lose my job if I dont ID everyone that looks like they might even be 17 or under. Id prefer not to do it, but I would also prefer to not get fired.

the guys at my locac gamestop know what they are talking about so no i dont argue with them. sometimes i have to correct them, but i know all of them so they take my word for it when i say something they didnt know
Naw the employees at the EB I go to are chill and stuff, sometimes if they're having a slow day they let me and my friends bring lawn chairs and play games for a while, and then they play too, and then we smoke a jay in the back.
ive considered them only drones for corporate america sent to promote the latest game that most of us could care less about... thats why whenever i go to either store i call it a hit and run as i know exactly what im getting and then get the hell out of there....
