[QUOTE="GrimeySnake"]funny this topic came up... I'm 20years old.. I look older than 20.. maybe 25.. except for my height. im 5'7".. so i went to a gamestop yesterday trying to find Tekken dark resurrection(no store in queens ny has this game anymore for some strange reason).. so i just said F it and i figured i'd get a PS2 game.. i had my eye on MKArmageddon, Ghost recon AWF, or.. some other game.. forgot what it was. so I went with MKA.. (i hate female cashiers.. they always follow the stupid rules.. they should work for gamespot) .. so the chick asked me for ID.. when my black azz look older than her. she said she cant sell it to me because its rated M.. lmfao.. but thats not the store around my way.. i dont think the one around my way would check for ID.. that is one stupid law.. I hope hiliary never gets elected.. Obama for President!!heartcork

The sad fact is, it is a strict law now. I will lose my job if I dont ID everyone that looks like they might even be 17 or under. Id prefer not to do it, but I would also prefer to not get fired.

In England, if you get caught selling an 18 rated game to anyone under 18, on top of getting fired, you can get fined (£5,000) or a prison sentence (6 months).

No. If they don't give me what I want, I tell them that I'll shop at the independent game stores (I usually stop there first, anyway). That usually shuts them up.

Yes. When i went to trade in my GameCube, the guy had to test it. He said it didn't work, and only offered me 10 bucks for it. The thing is, I made sure it worked 5 minutes before I brought it in, and the night before a different worker said I could get $20 bucks for it (still a ripoff). I made him do it until it worked and I got my mutha truckin money and I'm never goin back!

No - what in the world is there to debate about? I wait - go through with my transaction(s) - and than, leave --- unless there is some kind of mistaken, which, rarely happens from my personal experience (and in those kind of instance, so far, they have been understanding and helpful), I do not see how anyone would have legit, necessary reasoning for having debate with any of the employees.....

Naw the employees at the EB I go to are chill and stuff, sometimes if they're having a slow day they let me and my friends bring lawn chairs and play games for a while, and then they play too, and then we smoke a jay in the back.shaun909
