To be honest I'm not much of a paranoid conspiracy type guy but there are a few that seem suspicious to me. I think Lee Harvey Oswald didn't shoot John Kennedy alone but I think he had an accomplice. I don't think it was Nazis, the mafia, CIA or something like that I just think he had someone helping him. I think that the world governments may have some knowledge of extraterrestrial life but are keeping it secret. I don't believe that extraterrestrials have made direct contact with governments but radar sightings and other such things may be a big indication.

I don't think all that people say about Area 51 being home to alien beings is true I think they just test top secret advanced technology there. And I don't know if you could consider this a conspiracy theory because it is very apparent but I think that weapons companies the world over have a large say in foreign policy decisions and promote warfare and large military spending.

So that is me done what about everyone else?

I find them interesting. Just to see the type of things people come up with. I don't believe a lot of them though.

Sigh_han
Some of them are pretty crazy. I read once that some people say that Elvis killed JFK because he was jealous of him stealing his limelight.

Don't believe a lot of them, but I still find it hard to believe Lee Harvey Osward killed Kennedy all on his own too. Something really doesn't add up. I also agree it wasn't like CIA or Nazis or craps like that, but just another random guy helping him.

I don't believe in any. I can feel my brain start to melt just by trying to entertain some of the tripe that they come up with. Yesterday, the history channel was showinga 2012 apocalypse that's supposedly predicted by looking at symbols in a gothic cathedral. It was one of the biggest piles of camel **** I've ever seen.

That's the one that I hate the most. I find no enjoyment from that one, it's just pathetic and hurtful to even begin to say that the Holocaust didn't happen.

Conspiracy - An agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act.

Theory - A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

Conspiracy's happen every single day, all around the world, probably even in your small home town. Calling a conspiracy "theorist" paranoid or stupid is absurd, including a theory against a "reputable" government organization, which I don't find so reputable to begin with. Blindly believing in someones story without analysing the "facts" is absurd. Saying "I don't find conspiracy theory's to be true", doesn't even make sense.

I'm sure some of them have some truth or at least some elements that are closer to reality than we may think, but I don't think any of the ones I've seen or read are completely true.

I believe this too. I think it's possible the seemingly bizarre and exponential advancements that have been made in computers and mobile technologies over the past 10 years has to do with technology our governments have been spending decades trying to reverse engineer. Of course I could be completely mistaken, but it's an interesting thought nonetheless.

it's probably part of the bigger conspiracy that there are a select group of people who make money on both sides of all the wars, so they create wars to make money or something like that

Well, there is the conspiracy theory that FDR pushed Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor. Which is dodgy. So Japan is on a rabid nationalistic expansion, and America is the bad guy for some embargoes?

I think if there were any ring of truth to most of them, especially the 9/11 related ones, we wouldn't know about them. We aren't so special now that we have the internet. If anything, it only makes us more vulnerable to being hunted down and, um, taken out. The government can stop us if they so choose, which clearly states they don't exactly feel threatened by few crack pots missing the mark :P

I think the only one I see as having a potential validity are the ones centered around JFK. I'm not saying they are all valid, but there seems to be some room for debate. And while not a conspiracy theory per say, I'm one of those people who believes that the media unfairly represents the global warming issue. Scientist who work for oil companies are always painted as being tainted while they carefully omit that the UN Environmental section and all these other green groups have a lot to gain from Global Warming. Global warming is a multi-billion dollar business. It employs a lot of people, a lot of donations are made to these companies, and basically "green" scientists are equally as tainted as big biz scientists. Now I'm not saying the world isn't heating up, it is, I'm just debating the impact of humanity on the process. Do I think GW is real or fake? I don't know, I don't have enough information, but I do know that the average citizen gets a 1 sided argument.

The government lies to us everyday, since the 1980's when Regan took office the country has been secretly controlled by the banks, it seems like every president has been a puppet or part of a group such as the free masons or the skull and crossbones factions. Live this life with open eyes and a secretive heart there's a war going on and the powers at be are trying to bury us.

Yeah, but then you get arguments like "It's cold in the winter." That doesn't make me think too highly of the "sceptic" side.

did anybody here seen i shacked the hand of the devil ? A true Story that Romeo dallaire a Colonel who did Disobey Both the Canada & UN council Bureaucracy people about Genocide we don't get involved unless other countries agree it is one and well proven

well if you mix that with bunch of event as being JFK / Richard nixon and the Watergate scandal / Rwanda Genocide we clearly see some conspiracy about who as the power in few manner that even seem odd for us if you read the book / movie which movie is about the same expect you don't have to imagine the dead body there on tv instead :(

it is likely there is a world conspiracy what ever is there goal and the power they hold remain more or less a theory but don't absorb every piece of information with claiming it the pure truth is well know most the media are give censure& disinformation so because you getting the wrong information you must overwrite that wrong information with other people information : it up to you if is the truth or pure myth but stay alert

Global warming is a multi-billion dollar business. It employs a lot of people, a lot of donations are made to these companies, and basically "green" scientists are equally as tainted as big biz scientists. Now I'm not saying the world is heating up, it is, I'm just debating the impact of humanity on the process. Do I think GW is real or fake? I don't know, I don't have enough information, but I do know that the average citizen gets a 1 sided argument. PannicAtack
Yeah, but then you get arguments like "It's cold in the winter." That doesn't make me think too highly of the "sceptic" side.

You get stupid arguments from both sides of the field :P
