[QUOTE="Hiddai"][QUOTE="syorks"][QUOTE="Hiddai"][QUOTE="mindstorm"][QUOTE="Hiddai"][QUOTE="Anamosa41"][QUOTE="MakersMark_2023"] [QUOTE="Anamosa41"]I take the Bible literally. I've told you this before.syorks
why? (this is non-interrogational, btw.)
I am a full believer in the Bible. I love God and have given Him full control of my life. Thus I don't try to change anything He has said in the Bible.ok fair enough i like people like you however in the bible itself there are many contradictions so i can ask you to explain them
If you understand the Bible fully then it doesn't contradict whatsoever.
BTW, I'm a Young-Earth Creationist and I therefore do not believe in the Theory of Evolution.
Wrong. It's because there are many explanations to these contradictions by many ppl like our Sages of Blessed Memory etc. but when you read it literally you can notice that the bible has many authors with different opinions and sometimes they contradict each other
Please show me these alleged contradictions that can't be explained with a common answer like each of the others saw the same thing with different perspectives or something like that.
Well let's try first this: Why in the book of genesis they telling 2 times the story of the creation of Adam and Eve forst time they say the God created Adam and Eve at the same time and later (next chapter) they tell the famous story of Adam first and then Eve.
Of course you can see that these are 2 different authors with different opinions one author said this and second author said that...
Or there is the much easier answer of saying that the first time was just a broad story where the next time went into greater detail and started to describe their story. thats a much better explanation. so any others.I know you might can't notice it but in hebrew you can see in the bible that the language (the way he tells the story) is different sometimes in certain chapters...
