[QUOTE="Dominari"][QUOTE="Silver_Dragon17"] It doesn't matter who was the first one thanked.
The very fact that people think it does makes it trivial.

Yes, it does. That is, unless you don't think much of your friends, even after they've saved your life.
You act like the girl wasn't thanked at all, which you and I both know is bull****. So please, when somebody's life is saved and the person isn't thanked AT ALL, on camera or off camera, then complain about it.;)
Wow Silver - How many posts saying the same thing? No matter how many posts you make expressing the same point of view, it does not make it right.
Its not trivial - its insensitive, irrational and irritating that the friend did not get a public thank-you in front of the cameras. Your thoughts on the matter may be different, but you have to accept that other people also have a valid point of view no matter how much you rant.
To the OP - No, for me to believe in something takes more than dogma. The existence of god seems ever less likely as we use technology to communicate, research and discover alternative views to theism across the world's different cultures.
To the chap who said people that don't believe in god have meaningless lives. I'd say your original statement is arrogance encapsulated.
