let me tell you something
I don't need proof for a lot things because it simply can't be proven. Those who think everything just came out of nowhere can be right but are probably wrong.
If you keep asking why at a certain point you will only have three options:
1. You will have to answer 'i don't know'
2. You will have to answer 'just because it is like that'
3. You will have to answer with a an answer that you've already given so 'you're going in circles'
So some things we just can't explain. If you also look at the stars and star systems and know something about their distances, the mass and size of the sun, then you will realize that everything is so big that you don't have a choice but to believe.
The nearest star is alpha centauri 4 light years away. 1 lightyear is 9 460 730 472 580.8 km or about 6 trillion miles ( 5 865 696 000 000 miles) (1 miles = 1.609344 kilometers). A rockets speed is about 30000 km/h (19000 mph) . So with using a standard space craft of today it would take (roughly calculated) about 22000 years to get there. You could accelerate beyond 30000 km/h but that would take more power and you would need that power to brake too.
Once you have a certain speed it doesn't matter you won't slow down (there is no friction in space that makes you slow down) . The power needed to get a lightspeed would be about all the atomic bombs we have in the world and we don't have power to slow down.... This is also not counting micro meteorites, space debree, asteroids and other obstacles , when you collide with a meteor at light speed... well you get the picture.
This is just the nearest star, the furthest galaxy is about 8 000 000 000 lightyears away (yes 8 billions).Till the day we invent warp drive or even something stronger and we can actually explore the galaxy and beyond and see what's out there, if there's an end to it or whatever we find or can explain, till that day i believe in god like a kid believes in santa claus.
The furthest galaxy and a lot of far off galaxy 's probably don't exist anymore also because we can still see the light that that galaxy and stars emitted but light travels at 300 000 000 km/s that means since it's so far away the light we see now , is light that started 8 billions years ago, those suns are probably all dead and at this moment , there is nothing left at that point in space and time.
So i gues time and distance are the same things, and we can't be on the same time on two different places or can we?
