No.

I believe in God, but I don't belive in God.

Belivers in God are delusional.

I'm happily agnostic. I can't disprove God, but I can't prove him either.

Before long this will become a heated debate. If the TC only understood what he just released upon OT... :P

You say you don't want to start a fight.... but a thread on this topic can only start a fight. You call faith brainwashing, immediately you set up a precedent of conflict in this thread. Next time do a forum search and find a pre-existing religion thread, post there.

I don't have any beliefs to begin with, so I guess the answer to your question would be no. There's an inherent flaw that I see to be prevalent in all beliefs that I have seen so far, so I haven't found one that I could find to be agreeable, and I'm assuming that there isn't going to be one to begin with, but that could change.

Well, there's been about fifteen posts so far without any fires, so maybe, just maybe, hope exists for this topic after all!

I can hold out some hope for humanity, can't I? Can't I?

believing in God is against company regulations, something to do with all that new-wave movement and how the company is trying to look hip or something, go figure. well i like this job so i signed the contract and agreed to not believe.
and since we can't really talk about anything meaningful at work, like philosophy or religion (this is actually been so strongly infused that people look at you like a weirdo if you do try to talk about these subjects) no one has the stated his opinion here.

I recognize that there is a distinct possibility that a divine or omnipotent entity exists but I no more believe in it than aliens, and I certainly don't feel that any of the "revealed religions" have any legitimacy. I see no reason to subscribe to them.

I believe in God, but not in religion. I believe there is a greater being that is responsible for miracles, nature, etc., but I absolutely despise religious rituals and sacraments. IMHO, all one needs to worry about in life is doing the RIGHT thing, not for God or religion, but for oneself.

PS, people who say, "I was saved on (insert date) and now I thank Jesus and live through Him everyday!" tick me off a little.

I actually suspect he is lying. . . .a company cannot legally force someone to not hold a religious belief (at least, not in America), and most certainly cannot fire an employee for holding it.

But still. If such a company exists then I want nothing to do with it.

Yeah, it sounds very odd indeed. I don't understand why he'd want to make up such a strange lie though. Hmm, until I receive further information, I'm going to assume that he lives in China or North Korea :P

Nope, I'm agnostic.

Even if there was an entity that did create the universe, looking at our world, I wouldn't "believe" in him.

No, because the evidence for God's existence is not compelling and a naturalistic account of the world makes far more sense to me. It also makes sense to me why a strong belief in God would exist amongst people.

I didn't want to get into any debate but that is silly...we are considered Gods children.

How many parents raised there kids to be drug addicts, rapist or murderers...things just happen. Created not controls
