I put my arms under the other person's shoulders and place my hands slightly above his/her waist. On topic: I never bump fists with other people, unless they force me to. :P

But what if you both try and do that!? D:

It took a lot of restraint not to do so on my part. The only reason why I didn't is because my desire to scroll down was greater than my desire to touch my computer screen....

That's sad. D: I hug people (intentionally) all the time when I meet close relatives and friends. I'd say hugging X (mom perhaps?) counts as hugging, since my mom hugs me often.
