Do you cheer for the predator or the prey?

When you're watching animal documentaries, do you cheer for the predator or the prey? Eagle swoops down after hawk, lion chases antelope, cheetah chases meerkat, wildebest tries to cross river full of crocodiles, etc.

I always cheer for the prey. But I've got a friend who says he feels bad for the predator when they don't get a meal. :x

Its situational IMO. If the predator is about to starve, than go predator. It also depends on the prey.

Depends on the animals. I don't like wolves, so I never cheer for them. I like badgers, so I always cheer for them. Generally, I root for the predator.

I always sympathize with the prey.

Neither? It doesn't make much sense to cheer for either of them. They're only participating in natural behavior.

I don't cheer for anyone. I leave that to the cheerleaders.

Predator as long as it's a big cat. well, any cat really. nothing better than watching a cat get a mouse, or a Lion get a zebra.

I always cheer for the predator, they need to eat, and in order to do that they must kill, it's just the way it goes. Besides, there's always way more preys than predators, so even if an antelope dies there's lots more where that one came from, it all balances out.

I like this question. I'm usually for the prey, I guess because inside I'm always hoping for a David and Goliath type scenario.
