Do you consider Jennifer Lawrence most talented amongst other young actresses?

Seems JLAW ( Just 25 year old) got another crtitically acclaimed movie under her belt 'Joy'. Do you consider JLAW most talented compared to other young actresses or its director David O Russells credit she's getting best movies ( As most of the movies she's getting praised for are by same director as Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle,Joy) )?

If I see a film so bad, it can irrationally put me off an actor/actress.

Same happend with Nicole kiddman, I seen birth in 2004, the film was so bad I got the flu after it(possibly not the films fault but who knows) and I have been put of any films with Nicole Kidman in ever since.

Emma Stone and Rooney Mara have more range and Anna Kendrick is limited but more convincing than Lawrence, but the bar isn't that high these days. The real talent is now in the 30+ category.

I don't think that I would say she is the most talented but I do think that she is very good.

Dunno why ... i've never found women to be as good as men in acting profession.

No lol. He entire shtick is the ditsy persona and "girl next door" look she's cultivated to appeal to nerds on the internet. No different than Emma Watson and Emma Stone.

She's not awful by any means. She's pretty decent and has good agents.

Emily Blunt gets overlooked, imo.

Good in Winter's Bone, outside of that, nothing stands out for me.

She was sort of terrible in Days Of Future Past, which is a great movie, but she's the weak link imo.

Like someone pointed out earlier with this particular director like Joy, American Heist. Just works really well with her, and where I liked her work the best.

She seems to be pretty full of herself enough to need any credit from anyone. Some movies she's done she seemed to phone it in. She needs to be challenged.

She's a great actress but I think she's more one dimensional type. I don't think she has a range. She was amazing in Joy. But she seems to be type cast in the "strong female" roles.

What she is is just another face Hollywood pushes down everyone's throat as the next best thing. I don't see many movies in theaters because I don't feel they are worth my money based on the trailers released but not one trailer she's been in has even persuaded me to watch any part of her body of work.

Call me jealous, but I'm a bit tired of the media hyping her and showing how perfect she is. I do believe she is talented, but not to the point where she should often win awards and get nominated over other talented actors. After all, unlike winning most sports championships, winning a best actor/actress award is based on opinion (of a relatively few in this case) rather than an objective criteria.

Yes, and Jennifer Lawrence is beautiful too I may or may not have a crush on her. Also Hunger games series was great.

I liked Jessica Brown Findlay however much like Lawrence some filth surfaced on the internet. I find it hard to respect an actress after Iv seen her get slapped in the face by her boyfriends piece.

Most talented? No. Talented? Yeah, sure.

She plays to her strengths well and has gained (understandable) popularity. People like her and support her and so it makes her one of the biggest names right now.

I don't really care that much about celebs, I can say that her performances have never put me off and I find her quite attractive... so there's that.
