Umm, I'm pretty sure many societies were ruled by women. I can think of two right now. England and Ancient Egypt. England had Queens and Ancient Egypt had Pharaohs (male or female).

I'm pretty sure there is a study that shows men tend to be on the extreme ends of the bell curves with far fewer in the average range of intelligence whilst women trend more towards the average to above average range while having fewer in the extremes, so it rather balances out as a group.

My friends seem to think that men are superior because in many sections of life men lead the feild. They always seem to forget about the past few centuries of rampant sexism...

They are both better at different things in different ways. I think it pretty much balances out in the end though.

For example: Men have more grey matter in their brains but women have more white matter.

Another good one is: Men are taller, have bigger hearts, more hemoglobin in their blood, bigger muscles and bigger lungs thanks to all the extra testosterone we get. On the flip side men are responsible for the majority of violent crime. By a long way.

No, I consider women to be superior to men. They aren't normally fraught with the challenges of testosterone based competition that usually leads to violent outbursts and are generally more intelligent and solve their problems (for the most part) through discussion and compromise.
