im not very sociable.. i find 90% percent of people annoying and obnoxious and I dont share many things in common with many people.

Is it possible that you just dont give them enough of a chance to find things in common with them? believe me.. if u knew the kids at my school.. and you saw me.. then you would conclude that there is no possible way we would have anything in common. I find it difficult to merge the online personality with what I know of you in real life. Every post of yours just adds to the mystery. It's fascinating and frightening at the same time. It makes me wonder about how I come across and who I really am.

nope.. they think its nerdy and they say I dont have a life even though i dont play video games that much
I half and half... I cannot socialize with many people as I find plenty to be ignorant which is far too annoying for me. I prefer to be able to have an intellectual conversation with someone and be able to joke around a lot. Most people I can just easily get a vibe off them whether they have the mental capacity to think half intelligent things. Not trying to sound elitest or anything, I just find myself talking to people who seem like they're from another planet despite different cultural backgrounds.

Not really. Interesting people are really hard to come by. I have my share of good friends, those are enough. I'm also completely displeased by how i'm forced to have nothing but sexually charged encounters with the opposite sex, which apparently everyone outside my circle of friends endorses completely. Urgh.

If they are set in their ways, what about you surprise them and do something they do (thats not compromising you as a person like drugs or something lame like that) that you are interested in (never do something you don't want to do - you gotta enjoy doing something. Otherwise you're just trying too hard)
The irony is that people tend to become more social as they get older. lol... I can be social with someone I can feel be worth talking to, but I don't just walk up to people and start talking unless it's that kind of environment.
No, not really. I'm chatty when I'm out with my friends, but I don't really talk to other people unless they speak to me first. It's incredibly rare that I initiate a conversation with someone I don't know or even with someone I barely know. I'm shy but I'm also very introverted. I don't need a lot of socialization to feel stimulated. It mostly just makes me feel tired. I prefer to be alone or in small groups most of the time.

I am very good at it, but I don't like it -there are VERY few people that I like and enjoy spending time with -but I have a high social IQ/very socially adept/good at reading people and situations
