Fairly intelligent in Danish and English, but I completely suck at math. I'm also totally lazy, and it keeps pissing off my teachers, because they don't think I'm using my full potential, which I'm not, but I don't need some old lady telling me that. I can think for myself, you dried-up hag.

That doesn't always mean one is intelligent (not including IQ tests here but class rank, GPA and awards are actually worthless in this regard).....and I'd think by now an intelligent individual could pick up on the intelligence of others....

The people who tear down the notion of using such evidence are generally those who lack it completely. I suppose some subjective introspection is better than using barometers that have a shred of objectivity. IQ is correlated with higher academic achivement. As I mentioned in an earlier post- the "slacker" defense is dubious at best. If someone really possessed the ability to succeed its not rational to choose not to apply it. Stay away form the ad hominem attacks Kev_Boy. I apologize if my insistence on objectivity offends you.
Considering who my classmates are, I feel like Einstein, but in reality, I'm above average. My IQ tests range from 132-140 (5 tests). I tend to have some issues with OCD and ADHD, but I would be screwed if I took my meds.
I think I'm somewhere between moderately and pretty. I find myself to be ahead/above a majority of my classmates, but not quite at the top with the really smart group.
I'd prefer not to judge my own intelligence, generally those that do are the pseudo intellectuals trying to prove that they're so very intelligent compared to everyone else/

My IQ is definitely not lacking....and had very good grades in school. So wrong dude. I encountered many a cheater in school though....are you telling me they earned their grades?

I would consider myself to be philosophical, certainly. But I wouldn't say that I believe in a direct measure of a mind. We are like meter rulers arguing over which one of us is longer.
Define intelligence. If you can do that succesfully, and appropriately, then I believe that you are indeed very intelligent. If intelligence can be infered in some sense from grades at school and university then I think that I am quite intelligent but I believe that intelligence is more than how much you know or simply being able to apply what you know to achieve your goals. A simple Google search will reveal the breadth of the intelligence debate.
