I try and keep an eye on how much I'm eating in a day, but I don't really count them, per se. Between June and October of last year I decided to count calories because I'd ended up gaining some weight... ended up losing 50 pounds and I'm now actually about 5 pounds underweight now.
FYI, counting calories gets more important in your late 20s or so when your metabolism starts slowing down a bit.
I do not count CALORIES But I do keep track of FAT GRAMS -normal is about 60-65 grams per day (2000-2500 calorie diet) -but I tend to stay under 30 grams per day -That way i keep my muscle mass, but shed fatI used to not give a **** about it, but now I find myself actually looking at the labels of things & kinda making an effort to keep below a certain level

Not down to the calorie, but I do keep track of and estimate my daily intake. I've let myself go far too many times so far in life to not have to care about it. I want to be healthy and maintain a proper weight... and the only way to do that is to eat a balanced diet full of healthy foods and keep the calorie intake around how many are used in a day.
[QUOTE="Jandurin"]i just ate half a pound of bacon and fried eggs and buttered toast. what would you say that was in calories?3aNkabotI'd guess about 2k, and you might have some CVS problems if you keep it up :P . haha, I don't eat bacon like that but once a month :P 2,000? MADNESS. Why don't I gain weight? >_>
