my dreams are strategy camera view :o

I dream in first person, but I can never see any part of my body, even though other people can see me.
Kind of off topic but not completely, I always have nightmares where I'm not wearing shoes to work or school. These are the only exceptions where I can see my body.
Well, in movies, it kind of makes sense to portray dreams in third person very much like the actual, out-of-dream scenes. In real life, however, I don't think a person can dream in third person. It always struck me as odd, when watching films, tv etc.
If the protagonist is in a dream scene, its from a third person - camera angle (inception, Eternal sunshine, etc) does it make people think they also dream in this perspective?
Like an out of body experience?

Most of my dreams are in 3rd person with an omniscient narrative. It's like watching a movie starring Myself.
I usually remember my dreams but its hard to think back and see if it was in first or third person. I guess its usally in first person.
ae you saying you dream the future???!!!:o[QUOTE="Zaibach"]

My dreams have always been in First Person, but some are hazy, some I can remeber and some dreams show me what will happen to me 2-3 weeks later or even a year ahead if I'mlucky.

Sometimes but not always, it's pretty much the same stuff I go through everyday in life.
Isn't that deja vu? I'm fairly sure that's where that weird feeling where you feel like you've experienced something identicaly twice comes from. It's explainable, I like to think of dreams as a hard-drive defrag but of your brain's memories. Hence they're all sorta screwed up but at the same time draw from your recent experiences and can seem relevant.Well then, I must be God because I do it all the time. In fact, I did it last night. It's impossible to dream in the 3rd person.

I have this as well. At least three times a week I'll have a dream that will play out almost exactly the same way in real life. Me and benleslie > Miss CleoMy dreams have always been in First Person, but some are hazy, some I can remeber and some dreams show me what will happen to me 2-3 weeks later or even a year ahead if I'mlucky.

When I dream in first person, it's usually a fixed camera angle, not like IRL first person. It's like I'm seeing out of my eyes but watching a movie, if that makes sense.
I also have Inception-esque dreams. I dream I'm dreaming, or I dream I'm dreaming I'm dreaming.
Why is that odd when the rest of the film is delivered in third person? It always struck me as odd, when watching films, tv etc.

I understand, kind like a panoramic view of the dream worldI almost always dream in third person, but don't often see myself clearly even though I know it's third person. When I dream in first person, it's usually a fixed camera angle, not like IRL first person. It's like I'm seeing out of my eyes but watching a movie, if that makes sense.
