I thought the joke was that the trunks aren't ok in America because the guy was grossly overweight. Anyway, nah... I'm not at all offended - it's all good natured ribbing. :P
BTW, is Miller the one that tastes like fizzy piss?
Imported beer > domestic beer...true story.I thought the joke was that it didn't work in America because the guy was overweight. Anyway, nah... I'm not at all offended - it's all good natured ribbing. :P

I drink imports. Miller is nowhere near in that league. The only thing offending me so far is how long my internet connection is taking to load a 30 second video. 5 minutes to load 5 seconds so far.cjekLOL, my net is spotty too.
Light beer? Really? I am from the netherlands and I thought that commercial was dumb. :P Those aren't real beers in my opinion. :)lexikaThis. When it comes to beer you Americans are better off listing to us Europeans ;) :P

I can see why he would be offended. The British penchant with Speedos is well known, even among seniors which grosses some children out.
I meant no offense. The above was based on some British senior RAF types I was with at poolside long ago. Me? I was wearing Hawaiian swimming trunks (as did the other Yanks).
Strange, Stella was known as piss water where i grew up.Stella.

I just found it hilarious that they're advetising light beer with the slogan 'man up' markop2003Considering how much beer some people drink...they need to cut back on the calories.
It does sell.....The only thing funny about the ad is how the actress says miller has more taste and keeps a straight face. Who honestly thinks Miller taste like good beer? I'm from the states.
Darthmatt
That was my thought... Miller is garbage... Then again, all the trash beer companies (Miller, Bud, Coors, etc.) promote their "taste" when there's none to speak of.The only thing funny about the ad is how the actress says miller has more taste and keeps a straight face. Either people don't buy for taste....or they haven't tasted better alcohol. The wine that sells the most is the wine that has the least taste. I work in a wine and spirits so I notice the lack of taste in wine sales.:PThe only thing funny about the ad is how the actress says miller has more taste and keeps a straight face. Don't you mean wife beater? That's what we call it, It totally rhymes as well. Actually I thought Stella was decent, but given a choice it wouldn't be a primary pick.
Seriously though? Man up with "light beer"? They might have had a point if it actually could hold it's own against the majority of European brands, but it really can't.
