You mean a lonely drunk or a depressed drunk? Drinking is alright everyone once in a long while for special occasions.Sole6None of the above. Im not referring to drunk, just a few beers, but if its drunk then you also can discuss in this thread.
Yeah, Well its no fun if your drinking hard alcohol by yourself but if your relaxing with an ice cold beer then its pretty relaxing.Nope. If I don't have anyone to take a shot of Cuervo with me, then it's no fun.

Nothing wrong Chillin' with a beer, I'm just not a big beer drinker.Nope. If I don't have anyone to take a shot of Cuervo with me, then it's no fun.

Personaly, if I'm just gonna drink to drink something, I go for something refreshing... like Sierra Mist, man I love that stuff. Most alcohol is pretty wretched tasting, the only thing I could see myself drinking alone is a cap'n and 7.Sole6Most dark beer is very good and much tastier than Sierra Mist, also yes your drinking to drink something but there is a change in mindset as well, kind of like how people drink tea because it taste good and is good for you but it also changes your mindset somewhat by calming your nerves as well as the effects from the caffeine.
Do you ever have a night where you stay inside doing things by yourself and decide to drink and relax? Now I know to the avid drinkers it will sound like a silly question and to less avid drinkers it will sound as if its a plea of loneliness but that is not always the case. Im not implying getting drunk although im sure many people do that by themselves, but more referring to drinking 2 or 3 at night. To people who don't drink or have yet to, would you consider it? When I choose to I enjoy nothing more than sitting at my desk listening to music while posting on a forum or in a chatroom while contemplating whatever there is to contemplate.HomiegesusJust out of curiosity, what kind of beer do you drink?

Not at all. I know what you mean about mindset, but for me to be in the mindset to drink alcohol I gotta be with friends and such, and plan to have a stupid good time. While drinking mostly anything else, is just by myself, or casual. (being thirsty) Typically tho I try to stay away from sugar/caffiene and will drink water. Just feels good to drink. *shrug*

Im not as "hardcore" as your probably imagining considering there isnt much to choose from at the stores near my house but mostly Guinness, Samuel Adams Dark Lager, Brown Lager, Blue Moon w/ Orange

The other day, I finished off a bottle of Smirnoff Ice, which I started with friends, by myself. But then I met up with some more friends and moved onto slightly stronger things with them, heh. That was the only time I have ever drunk alone, and it was only because I knew I was going out with friends later. I don't really enjoy drinking alone, it's just not the same.
Im 16 and still havnt been drunk yet... Mostly because beer tastes like crap.bungie091It's something that grows on you, you learn to like it.
"You know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself." - George Thorogood.
When I start drinking after class or after work my roommates will join in. Then after a few phone calls there will be a few more people, next thing you know its a party. Doesn't really matter what I'm drinking either. Bud Light, Sam Adams Boston Lager, Crown and Coke, Jake on the rocks or something home made.
Im 16 and still havnt been drunk yet... which is unfortunate because beer tastes like awesomeness.bungie091that's what I heard...
[QUOTE="Hallenbeck77"]Yeah, Well its no fun if your drinking hard alcohol by yourself but if your relaxing with an ice cold beer then its pretty relaxing. Or sometimes a mixed drink. The only time I drank hard liqueur by myself with the intention of getting drunk was the day after my brother lost his arm to a woodchipper.Nope. If I don't have anyone to take a shot of Cuervo with me, then it's no fun.
