Do you ever go to the movies by yourself?

I've gone to see a movie by myself only twice. I was wondering if any of you ever just go to see a movie by yourself?

I feel like going to watch a movie tonite, but I don't think any of my friends would want to come, so I'm leaning towards going by myself...

I went once to a movie by myself because the group I was with didn't want to see what I wanted..

Never really purposely went out to the theatres by myself though. I'll try it some time.

There's nothing strange abou that. I was just wodering if it is more common than I thought. Usually, I know people like to go in groups. I don't think any of my friends like to go by themselves.

No one to discuss with the movie with afterwards, no one to look at when you just saw Batman flip a semi-truck with bat pod (what is it called? Whenever Alfred said it I didn't understand him), that's it actually. IMO I will never do it.

What if it is a movie that you really wanted to watch, but none of your friends did? I understand that if you go by yourself you have no one to discuss anything, and when Batman flipped the truck you couldn't turn to look at your friend...but what if your friend didn't even wanted to see the movie? You still wound't go by yourself?

Before I started dating my bf, I almost always did; still do occasionally. For me, seeing a movie isn't a social thing. Same thing goes for dining out.xaos

Yeah, I guess you're right...most of the time my friends and I don't talk at all. Going to the movies isn't a very social activity now that I think about it. Dining out, that's something I haven't tried by myself!

If I feel like watching a movie, I'll call a friend or two and let them know when and where. If they can make it, great. If they can't, I'm seeing it alone. I'm not letting someone else's schedule interfere with my desire to watch a film.Oleg_Huzwog
