Do you ever visit System Wars?

I do, its easily the best part of these forums imo

Not really, to me it seems like there are nothing but 13 year olds in there.

not anymore. i used to when i was still a pretty big gamer. i don't mind dropping my 2 cents every now and then, but it gets pretty pointless when you got nothing but fanboys arguing and claiming supremacy for their system over another over something trivial.

Only when I am feeling stupid and want to feel smarter then 100% of it.

Other then that NO.

I occasionally go in threre, but I mostly stay in OT. System Wars is just too engulfed in frankly embarrasing stupidity.

Yeah, it's pretty surreal, especially when you got people forming "cultures" around certain consoles. It's like these people lack the ability to realize that consoles are basically tantamount to DVD players. They play games. They don't give advice, they don't give you money, they don't hug you after a bad day, etc.

I also personally think the saddest console debate is the PS3 vs Xbox 360 debate. They play 90% of the same games, have the same graphics, have similar controllers, have similar online infrastructures (even if Live is fancier and more integrated), etc.

TalkBack was basiclly the Forums on GS in 97/98

My favorite memory of GS was the Back and forth between me and Stone Cold about the N64 or the PS1..I don't remember what side I was on other then fighting :lol:

I got over that whole fiasco years ago. there's just no point in it really. it's just a pointless contest to me. the only i ever went there for the past for years was to do my yearly "what games will santa give to naughty kids" thread on christmas eve, except last year it got locked. so i guess that's the end of system wars for me :P

Yeah. It's a hilarious place for all the wrong reasons.

I go there sometimes, people create ten topics about the same thing, atleast at OT we got some occasional fun threads or threads that add negative scores to the faith of humanity.

I love it there, best forum here IMO and most of my posts come from there, love arguing with people that are actually FUN to argue with, unlike other forums like OT.

Despite the idiocy that goes on there, it's actually a pretty good place to get gaming news.

I do al lthe time, that used to be the only place on the main forums I'd post, but now I quit most of my unions so I post in OT too.

It used to be the only forum I'd post in, but I got over it quite a while ago. OT is far more interesting than SW.
