you have to take into account not only the immense mass of the earth, but that most of our resources come from the top...layer (like the skin of an apple, that's how thin the crust is).Hewkii

It comes from the moon, silly. :PAt the rate the human race is going, we won't be able to sustain ourselves for much longer. -Sluggo-
My family history usaully dies in late 80's/ early 90's It would be the year 2085 by then, do you think I'm doomed by then:shock:

I don't know...You will probably be alive longer than I will. Earth's population is supposed to reach ten million or so in a few years, so if you do make it until then, you are going to witness some drastic changes to the way everyone lives.

Holy crap!!! 10 MILLION!?!?!? I dont mean to be well er..mean or anything..but I think Earth's current population is already 1.3 billion.
Hewkii
no, that'd be China's.
India's comes close too.[QUOTE="neroburner52"][QUOTE="-Sluggo-"][QUOTE="Tech-Man08"][QUOTE="-Sluggo-"]At the rate the human race is going, we won't be able to sustain ourselves for much longer. thriteenthmonke

Yeah, that was a big typo. I was eating pizza and am not responsible for whatever I type when I am eating.

Are you being serious? Where did you think it came from, space? Everything we use is made of materials found on Earth (unless someone has made chess pieces out of an asteroid or something...).
Anyway, yeah, that's obviously a major problem we're having. I believe I heard somewhere that the maximum number of humans Earth could sustain is roughly 13 billion people (which is what the population is suppose to reach in 2020 or so). Although I could be wrong on all of that, I'm reporting based on memory from my environmental science class I took two years ago. Well, in any case we're all screwed.

You should go give Gore a hug. I'm just surprised at how America can support the demand of the amount of meat that we eat. Oh well I'm off to buy a 50 pack of battled water at Sam's Club so that I can water my grass.
