Do you feel inferior to smart people sometimes? Like it makes you feel kind of worthless? Not average smart, smart people:o

Not really. Intelligence comes in different forms sometimes, so I might be smarter than them in other areas. And of course I respect knowledge more than intelligence anyday. Really it comes down to the person as to how I react to (judge) them.
no, as those "smart people" tend to lack common sense and stuff.
everything balances out...I wont sit here and pretend to be booksmart and have technical knowledge of an engineer or doctor.
but I imagine if the stock market crashed tomarow and we had to essentially fend for ourselves, I would be more hireable than either of them
everybody balances out, they may be smart in academics, but ask them to nail two peices of wood together and thier lost, chances are that you're better than them at something.
Not at all. I kind of feel sorry for geniuses. I mean, to them, being around normal people all day is like what I feel like hanging around the dumbest people I know. I wouldn't want that no matter how much easier it would make my Physics homework.
oh you wish ;)no, as those "smart people" tend to lack common sense and stuff.

I feel a bit like that when I see some people express opinions -that I share with them- much much much much much better than I ever could.
Kinda jealous. D:

its ok I feel like that aaaaaaaaallll the time
especially here on gamespot
I will write like three paragraphs of stuff, people will go "No youre wrong" then someone will come on, write two sentences, and the people disagreeing with me will go "Huh...makes sense, youre right!" and I'll be like "THATS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY" hahaha

wait that's actually very ironicYeah, I've felt that way before. How come they can get get a GPA of 4.0 so easily but I can't? My grades are good though. I start a new semester in school tomorrow. My grades for last semester were pretty good. I think my lowest grade was a B -. Hopefully I did well on my finals enough to keep all of my grades above a C and a GPA of 3.0...:)Do you feel inferior to smart people sometimes? Like it makes you feel kind of worthless? I do until I realize that their parents probally harass them about school on a daily basis and how miserable they are at home. There's more to life than being the "smart kid", and you don't needa 4.0 to be successful in life. And like other's have said, just because their book smart doesn't mean they are truly "smart".
Well, there have always been those instances where there are smart students in a class of mine that seem to have no problem getting an A in a class, while I on the other hand am trying my hardest to get out of the D range in the same class, and seeing these students do so well does make me feel like crap.
Not usually. I'm friends with smart people. Maybe 2 out of 6 people give me that 'superior look' when I say something they don't agree with.
[QUOTE="BiancaDK"]no, smart people do not impress me at all. (:rawsavoneasy for you to say (no silly jokes this time :) ) Creative thinking can impress me though. =] Anyone can retain knowledge, or put theory into practice, but it is where you invest yourself, how you do it and with what. Wisdom is shown when the creative mind has prepared him/herself prior to practice; gathering whatever amount of relevant data on the field of interest within reason. When the creative mind is exercised in and with wisdom, that is when i feel inferior. Envious. Inspired. =]
