Do you find female comedians funny?

Ok, I'll just come right out & say it - women aren't funny. Intentionally funny, I mean. Stand up comedians on late night shows, female stars on sit-coms, whatever. Do they have any other routine besides "Don't you just hate men? Blah, blah, blah..."?

Great comedians are rare and some women do fall into that group

I can think of a few who are good, so yeah i think they are funny.

I'm afraid I got to disagree, but I know where your coming from. I've laughed at a few female comedians on stand up TV but also i've worked with many girls who cracked me up. I remember a girl I sat next to named Katie who put me in gigglefits constantly, she had this great dilinquent style of humor.

Often girls aren't funny because they too busy being sexy (or at least trying). In this day and age, they are led to so many insecurities from social taboos, advertising and the media that they are afraid to laugh in case it causes crows feet before they're 30. There are those few girls out there however which don't care so much, those tend to be the funny ones.

Also fat mothers tend to be funny, especially the ones who joke about themselves.

It seems what i'm saying is pretty girls are not funny. You know what. I think that's true! I'll stand by that.

From the ones I know of, no there not very funny. Though I am sure there are some funny ones out there, just haven't found them yet.

Only some, I have to admit I find it hard to find alot female stand-up comdians funny for some reason.

But when it comes to situational comedy they can be as funny or funnier than alot of men.

I've found some female comedians funny, and I know some girls in real life that are really funny. Though I will agree that men are generally more funny.

Rita Rudner is pretty funny, but Kathy Griffin is beyond annoying. The queens of comedy are freaking hilarious. I never really thought of it but there really aren't many women in stand up.

I do not like Sarah Silverman.

wow, sexism and stereotyping all in one...awesome.

There are plenty of funny female comedians out there, as several people have already mentioned some of their names. Also did you ever stop to consider the ratio of male to female comedians? I bet if you worked it out you would find that there are proportionally just as many good female comedians as there are good male comedians. Not to mention that sometimes guys and girls have a different sense of humor and since you are a guy maybe that's why you find males to be more humorous
