Do you find Satursay Night Live funny?

im talking about the new episodes on these days, not years ago etc. :P

i find it reallyunfunny but some friends can't get enough. how about you?

I find certain skits funny but in total not really. Then again I feel as though it isnt fair to judge them as its gonna be almost impossible to show up the previous casts...

Sorta. Some of it's good- like the Lawrence Welk show skits and the wrestling skits with the 2 announcers talking about women's products. And the scared straight maybe, where the 2 prisoners try to talk sense or something into 3 teens who got in trouble.

Since I started watching it in early 2000's I always thought it wasn't as funny as Mad TV. But the older stuff were definitely much better when Sandler/Meyer/Farley/Rock were still there

It's Bob Saget funny.

I like their shorts but the skits they do now suck.

I love SNL from 1994(when I first started watching it) to 2005(around the time Will Ferrel left the show)

Its really horrible IMO. I do think they have a lot of talented, funny people but they just can't get it to work.

The old SNL was, this new stuff meh not really.

Nowadays, only a few here and there.

But the classics (celebrity jepoardy, etc..) are hilarious.

Rarely. Sometimes I'll laugh, but usually it's just a slight chuckle. I think they were funnier in the past but now it just seems like they are trying way too hard.

I liked the older stuff, but just lost interest in the newer stuff. I even forget it exists now, unless threads like this pop up.

Staurday night live has sucked for about fifteen years.

No. Not anymore. I didn't really find the original to be all that hilarious either, but it was a different time period with a different context. I don't pay attention to the show and when the funniest thing the show has produced in years is J@#$ in my pants, you know there's a problem.

Nothing wrong with Lonely Island, but when it's the funniest aspect of the show, it's time to throw in the towel.

I'd really like to know who still watches SNL faithfully. I don't know a single person around me that watches it with any amount of interest.

Sometimes they'll produce something that is genuinely funny, but those moments are few and far between. Most of it is just painfully unfunny. Maybe its time to go back to drugs?

I used to love SNL, but it's pretty awful now. I miss staying up on Saturday nights with the family to tune in, but it's just not worth watching anymore.

For at least a decade or longer now, Saturday Night Live has been an abortion of a "comedy" show.

One of the least funniest shows on television, period. It's actually excrutiating trying to sit through an episode, and has been for the longest time now.

For comedy I always watch the BBC. I tried watching SNL once or twice, but it was terrible.

There are some skits that are really funny and some that aren't at all.
