Yep. I officially quit when I was 14, hated weeaboos before then though. Well, you'd probably call me a weeaboo, but other weeaboo's annoy me. Why do you care how some of the more obsessed fans treat it? I don't cosplay and I agree that saying kawaii, sugoi, etc is stupid if that's all the Japanese you know, but honestly other people cosplaying doesn't affect me.
This ideology that they are was pushed by US parents groups in the 70s & 80s trying to "protect the children", and has lingered in US culture for the past few decades.
The fact is Animation is just a medium for visual entertainment just like live action.
In an ironic sense I find it hilarious now adays when I here teens & adults saying cartoons & animation are just for kids while finding it awesome to have just got a head shot in the newest COD game which itself is animation.

Not at all, I like watching Friendship Is Magic and Transformers Prime, they tend to be more entertaining than 'adult' TV shows. Tom And Jerry as well as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are still a great laugh as well, much more than any of the mindless reality TV junk that is churned out all the time.

No, people should be free to watch whatever the hell they want to watch regardless of any "age restriction" people put on the show. Hell, some of those shows are way better than the $#!++y adult shows people watch these days.
