[QUOTE="Free_Marxet"] You were saying that if you screw up at a job you shouldnt get rehired right? What if the employer wants to hire you back anyway? Should they be forced to go with your opinion?Second_RookNope, but you seem to be taking exception to dissenting opinions. Goodell is doing this to avoid a poo storm, it would be the NFL equivalent to the Rodney King verdict to put a lifetime ban on the guy. It's avoiding a PR nightmare, it's got nothing to do with redemption. That's my opinion however, you won't find it on ESPN. No, im fine with what youre saying. which is why im very calm about everything. I think reinstating vick would is worse for publicity since everyone seems to hate him.
also you did say this
Exactly, the guy had the world by the tail and he blew it. Very few people in this world get the kind of opportunity that he did once in their lives, and now people shudder at the thought of him not getting it twice? I'm tired of this talk about not being barred from pursuing his chosen profession, if you blow a job you are generally barred from pursuing your chosen profession with them, plenty of other football leagues out there.
