Do you get bullied in school?

I actually waspicked-on a few times in my 9th grade year, other than that I can't really think of any other times.

No, I'm too big and too fly. Also, I have too many friends.

No, I have two friends that are really short and nerdy and are in a grade below me. They are extrememly skinny. Im the opposite....6 feet tall, a little overweight, long hair, and i do have "bully" friends, but if they pick on my short friends they get hell.

I hate bullies. I was bullied in elementary school, i was also really short and fat. Looks like the tables turned....now Im the tallest guy in my grade and no one seems to screw with me at all anymore...but yeah i guess you could say i serve as somewhat of a bodyguard to the small kids. One little dude sent me a thank you letter for helping him stop this one guy who would throw his bookbag into the girls bathroom every morning, and the girls would laugh when he asked for it. I would just storm in there and grab it and trip the dude the next morning. Its fun being tall, especially after youve experienced the opposite.

when i walk home people yell at me and say stupid **** i think its funny because they will talk **** in a moving vehicle but not to my face.

I used to be in middle school for a while. Less in school more in my neighborhood though. I wasn't good at sticking up for myself. Bullying has died out for the most part in my school, I am pretty sure if people were intimidated by the way I look, I would be made fun of more. Anyways, I did see bullying a few days ago from these two kids I can't stand. I wanted to stick up for him so bad but i graduate in a few weeks. If I get suspended from a fight, I lose my chance to walk on stage, senior trip, cruise, and such. I feel bad but we all go through bullying at some points.Avistann

In middle school yes a lot, in high school, not anymore, good thing.

Yeah, same here. I always had at least one or two friends from each little clique which, looking back, was a bit weird seeing as how I wasn't very outgoing in middle & high school.

I used to get spit on in H.S. Never stood up for myself, had guys always wanting to fight me. Not an enjoyable time. The upside is I now don't take any crap from anybody.

Not really. I mean, I was occasionally teased, but even than, it was not a "everyday occurrence."

Yes, i was bullied in elementary school (not sure why) in middle school (for being nerdy) AND high school (for being Hispanic), it sucked, but I wouldn't have it another way, it made me strong, a hardcore cynic, a great judge of character, and it taught me the value of having a good relationship with friends and family.

I used to get bullied. I try not to dwell on it since it stopped several years ago anyway.

I finished high school in 2004. There was one group of people who liked picking on others, and on rare occasions, i'd be a target. It's funny though - what happened in high school and all the stupid cliques don't matter one damn bit after high school. Now 5 years out, I'm a very confident, sociable, fun guy with a beautiful girlfriendwho has made lots of amazing friends at university and elsewhere. I've also finished a degree in biomedical science, now studying psychology, and aiming for medical school next with plans on becoming a surgeon :)

I work out often and so my physique is much greater than it was in high school. University is so great as people from all walks of life are appreciated for who they are, and the people are way more mature... not to mention the much better social aspects that university life brings. What are those bullies doing now? Crappy jobs that require minimum effort to get into/do, pregnant with kids, and/or have little ambition in life.. I just gotta laugh at how things turn out :lol:

There is so much bullying that went on in my old high school since there is so many people of different races. Asians are made fun of for there "short sticks". Hispanics are made fun of just for being hispanic. Overall the ones doing the bullying in my high school are the rednecks. I'm not saying all of them are bad but most of them are doing the bullying and being rascist all together. The lunchrooms are seperated by race and boy was that terrible when someone crossed over. I was bullied myself for looking hispanic. A fat redneck a couple seats behind me likes to throw paper balls the middle of class. I let it go for a few days then started throwing them back. Then came the metal balls which ****** me off. After the metal balls I told the teacher if she was going to do anything about it but she didn't give a ****. So I moved my desk and then the bully started throwing stuff at my friends and that was the last straw. If my teacher isn't going to do anything then I'll do something myself. After going back to my seat in front of him I collected the metal balls he threw at me and threw them all together back at him as hard as I could. Which started a fight between me and him. Since I was a skinny guy and he was fat he got the upperhand but at the end of the fight I he was the one on the ground. Partially due to some karate lessons I took for a couple of years. Yet even if I hadn't taken those lessons I would still try my best to kick his ***.Pvt_r3d

Hello. I did use to get bullied and it was hard for me because i suffer many mental disorders. I have OCD as well as social and anxiety disorders. I was made fun of quite often and ended up dropping out of high school eventually. I couldn't take the pressure it was just too hard for me. And because I can't control my fear i never did anything about it.

I think it's horrible that people are made fun of or bullied because we can never understand what individuals are going through in their lives. It's always important to understand that people need your kind-heartedness.

when i see a som1 gettin bullied i just say sumtin smart to the bully and make them look stupid. Its lots of fun :lol:

I was bullied from Kindergarten up till 7th grade(about 10 years ago since 7th grade). There were only a handful of kids who were the bullies, but they would call me fat and stupid every day. I even had a few of them hold me down and beat me a few times. The school principal wouldn't do anything, so I just took it and let it eat at me for years. It took me quite a few years to get over it, but life is definitely better. Some of the best things in my life, though arguable ;) came because of it. I enjoy lots of hobbies, such as comics, anime, magic the gathering, manga, video games, and more. I've even made lots of great friends because of it and finding people who are similar can help get over the effects of bullying.

I can't stand bullies. It's funny and sad, but all the guys who have bullied me are now the ones who either dropped out of high school, got into drugs, or are alcoholics while I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree. It's easy to tell people to just ignore them and just laugh, but it's not as easy as people may think, though honestly, the sooner you just believe in yourself and just do your own thing, the sooner your life will be easy. High school has less bullying in it than it used to, so things won't be bad forever, and once you hit the real world, things are easy :D

Nope. There are a couple of people who really don't like me, but whenever we're near each other we just completely ignore one another rather than bully each other lol

Of course, I got into about a zillion fights because of it. Each bully stopped bullying me after each fight, apparently I'm so scrawny it hurts when I punch because I'm so boney.

Ouch.... I was also like 6 ft when I was in middleschool so I was like a skeleton XD
