i was modded once for no reason... i was suspended for 4 weeks and i wasn't on my account, but luckily GS services unsuspended me as it was a mistake. I was also suspended for a week once because someone insulted somebody else making fun of him financially so i defended him without using any bad language. All i said was that it wasn't right to do such a thing and someone shouldn't insult someone else's economic situation and then i was suspended for trolling. lmao

Maybe look at what you posted, then the description of the violation such as "Disruptive Posting" and then look at the GameSpot ToU and look for matching reasons. But basically just be nice to others, don't blank quote, or just post emoticon only or one word posts and you should be ok. Also completely censor offensive words with all ***** instead of just one or two letters to get around the censor. Being mean, condescending, or narrow minded and directing negative things at users are usually the easiest way to get in trouble. So try to be nice and have a good time and you shouldn't have any trouble. :)
I didn't mean that as an order; I'm just saying that contrary to popular belief, moderations aren't just doled out because the moderator was having a bad day. If someone doesn't know what lesson they were supposed to learn from a moderation, that's a problem, and one we'd like to rectify.
I did the other day for creating a thread proving GS changed the score for GTA4 to 9.5 to a 10 all in the span of 4hrs. Create in SW. I hate that place. Tjeremiah1988
Like once a month, it kinda gets on my nerves too because its for stupid things that could be taken as flaming to those with the maturity level of a 5 year old!
naw, i've only been modded four or five times in two years, which isn't bad. most of them are from when I used to post in SW and got frustrated with people. like. extremely. frustrated. so i always got modded for insulting someone. i've never had an unfair moderation before though.
