It happens and really doesnt mean they arnt a good friend just that they have other stuff in their lives but you. I have this girl who i live with who i often feel can come across as rude even though when we really hang out she is nice and friendly. Thing is she has personal stuff that she has to deal with as well as just starting her first year at uni not too long ago with is stressful enough on its own. I was just the same if not worse last year but that didnt mean i was a nasty person or a bad friend :)

I should add that I'm similar. IF people ask me to do something it's usually not something I want to do so I decline. If I suggest something I like they don't want to d it so it usually ends up I just stay at home and do my own thing. I'm not fussed.
