I cut the cable years ago and don't really miss it. Back when Discovery Channel, History Channel and The Learning Channel actually showed science, history docs and educational programs respectively I didn't mind paying for it. Now, it's all pawnstars, swamp loggers and stuff about babies.

I'm on antenna and I went from 6 OTA stations before the digital switch to 16 OTA stations after the digital switch. Sure, most of them are non-HD substations (i.e. channel 15.2, 15.3) but they're the most interesting ones.
Hell, I remember growing up with cable in the 80's and having only 20 stations (not counting the premium stuff like HBO), so 16 free channels isn't bad. Besides, I almost never watch TV. A few hours a month at most, and I can go months without even turning it on.
