Do you have sympathy for child molesters/pedophiles?

I don't have sympathy for persons like that.
Yea,you freaked out,but I would've done the same thing.

I have no sympathy, but I have no irrational hate either. They need help to prevent them from harming children.

I dont like child molesters.

But I like seeing people release their hate upon them because society deems that its okay. Shows how sheepish people are.

I'm not sure if that was supposed to be an indirect insult or what but I didn't release hate upon him because society told me to, I did it because I hate when an adult can find it in themselves to take advantage of a child like that on top of a my sister coming close to being a victim of child molestation by someone else in my family (needless to say I don't speak to that family member anymore even though I see them frequently through association).

I find it unfortunate and a bit sad that they must have everyone know what they did and always have to be considered a threat and have their lives ruined, yes, but no, I'm not really sympathetic towards them either. the crime they commit is pretty awful, and they should have known the consequences of commiting the crime.

I think you could only be harsh if you reject him like that after he has put that crime he committed in his past and has tried to moveo n to better things.

So is molesting a child. If you have children someday, you may understand. If someone raped your child, you'd probably want to kill that person.

I kinda feel sorry for pedophiles. It's a mental disorder to be attracted to children and they do need help. However, those who go out to fulfill their desire (child molesters), should die and go to a special place in hell.

I think you need to find out exactly what he did first, some people put on those lists have actually done nothing really wrong. Saw on this show a few weeks ago that a man was on the list because he had consensual sex with seventeen year old. Now They are are married and have like three kids, and he's still on the list.

But for the others whose being on the list is justified, I don't have much respect or sympathy for them, They have to prove themselves worthy of society first.
