Currently, I share my room with my brother. I much prefer to have it to myself because, among other things, I hate having to masturbate only when he is out of my room for a long time (e.g. going out somewhere). And I never have girls over in my room.
I had my own, very small room (7 x 11 feet) for about two years up until a month or so ago when I went back to sharing with my brother. All other times in my life I've shared.

Better. Sure there are down sides, but the new room is huge, almost a mini apartment.
