How is that stereotypical? I was just telling you that i was black. But yes i am a good fighter though, but it has nothing to do with me being black, i just was naturally born a very fast fighter.
Then why did you state you were black and say nothing else if that was the case?I do that alot when i post. Just something random, thats it man im sorry if i offended you.
On a not race related note.. Fighters are not made, not born.Oh well i was always a quick fighter ever since i was born and just a person that always had a violent mind. Everytime i fought someone i just felt right, and during a fight in my head i always thought "more!".
You like fighting, it doesn't make a natural Mike Tyson.. I love fighting as much as the next person, but I know that my skills came off of training, not of natural ability. Anyone pick out a few notes on a piano, maybe even create a little melody. But a real instructor is needed if they're to become something big, same with fighting. Anyone can throw a punch, if the punch is a good one or not is another question.Well i guess im different. Cause i know karate but i havent taken a class yet.
 I won't even try to comment on that.[QUOTE="kurama2002"][QUOTE="Vfanek"][QUOTE="kurama2002"][QUOTE="Vfanek"][QUOTE="kurama2002"][QUOTE="darksword1123"][QUOTE="kurama2002"]How stereotypical.[QUOTE="darksword1123"][QUOTE="kurama2002"]I'm black.Vfanek

Bunch of lies Mr, you're not Jesus. No man is born a fighter, you can be born agile, have good reflexes... but you won't know how to fight before you have been taught.Well im a good fighter and i never been taught. When the first time i fought i knew how to fight. My dad didnt teach me or no one did.
You were a better fighter then the one you fought, but that doesn't make you a good fighter. I'd enter the ring against you any day, no experience = epic fail. It's just how it is pal, fighting has been evolving throughout the centuries, what makes you think that you were just born with all the knowledge?i must admit, i have never been in a fight and i never hope to (only if someone is being a dumbass or doing something like trying to hurt my feelings etc)
but i am a thirteen year old that can bench 150 pounds and curl with 35 pound dumbells....i guess i could land a nasty one
Benching 150 and curling 35 isn't really an extraordinary feat... and punching power has very little to do with how much you curl or bench. Very little.i must admit, i have never been in a fight and i never hope to (only if someone is being a dumbass or doing something like trying to hurt my feelings etc)

Ni-kyu in Isshin-Ryu Karate, Yon-kyu in Muso Shindo Jodo, and Sho-dan in Satori Ryu Iaido.
So I'd say "I'd sure like to think so." :o I've only been in a few actual fights though (uncontrolled environments), and I both walked away and got the last blow in for all of them.

I happen to be a boxer my dearest sire. I have a low body fat percentage and have kept my muscles to a performance rather than size level, I'm anything but a "skinny stick" person. I could supply proof if you want son. It might be a cardiovascular feat for you, I didn't know of your medical background, if so, I applaud you. Your first and last post are very.. contradictory. But ah, if you really did take boxing classes (not random heavy bag punches) for a year, and martial arts training you should be a much better fighter than the average person. Amateur boxer mind you, not quite a Tyson yet. Merely been doing boxing for 1.5 years, not a best of the best of course, but getting there ;) Very hard to find fights around here thuogh, my boxing club is the only one in the county and coaches aren't too happy in arranging fights in the bigger cities, unless it would really benefit the club. Which means the ones who get the most fights are the ones who really knows how its done, ala the vets. But heh, as long as I get the training, sparring and whatnot I'm happy. Hoping to move to cage fighting when I get older, so just started going to ju jutsu classes... and well, as I said, getting there :PYou were a better fighter then the one you fought, but that doesn't make you a good fighter. No its not knowledge, just like what you said i was born with good reflexes i could dodge, i could punch hard. I knew all the ups and downs of fighting, what to do and what not to do. Common sense really.

Well.. in the end only you can know if you can fight/throw a punch or not. 'A little bit' can have a world of meanings.. But well, even a little bit of training is better than no training at all. Hah,l it's how I started too, if anything gets you in shape it's combat sports. And yep, I moved from fat computer nerd to a regular gym going due to the boxing, gotta thank it ey. And haven't had a hamburger for six months counting.. Gotta be something ey! Not to mention, any combat sports increases self confidence, which is something that is a benefit for everyone. On the other hand, you also have the jackarses who try to learn a bit and then go trying to find a street fight to impress with their fighting abilities.. But eh, everything has its downsides.well i thought i could, been in a few martial arts classes, then this big guy came and we started fighting, i got into complete shock, couldn't do anything except put my hands up and protect my face, it helped, eventually all the people around separated us.
that's the difference between thinking that you can defend yourself and reality. the truth is many people that train many years in martial arts are just not conditioned to street fighting. its all about you mind set. i didn't have it, so my ass was kicked, hard.
on the other hand i have a friend that trains in martial arts since he was a boy, and he was in a few fights and really hurt the other people.
its all about the mind set.
This certainly shows the importance of sparring :Pwell i thought i could, been in a few martial arts classes, then this big guy came and we started fighting, i got into complete shock, couldn't do anything except put my hands up and protect my face, it helped, eventually all the people around separated us.

lol, man, you can't just 'know' Karate without training in it. Karate isn't just about throwing punches or kicks. Unless you're in to sport karate... which blows.

That's some top-tier fighting skill right there.
As for me, I guess so, it would be a lot of random kicks and stuff I saw on old episodes of Power Rangers, but I could get the job done if I had to.
Yeah I can fight.
But seriously by the time my 12 year old brother is my age, he'll be THE killing machine.
I took a few years of tae kwon do and become alright. Then I took 6 months of a kind of freestyle fight class which was a combo of jiujistu and muay thai and improved a bunch, the guy moved and I have been out of practice ever since. I think one on one I would do good. Not sure how I would handle myself if I got jumped by several people.
Yeah some people are lovers some are fighters some are kidders or something else but I've grown up a fighter. I got in about 12 fights in high school 6-7 from 6th-8th grade. I won and lost the first 3 or 4 I was like 2 in 2 and then when you fight more and more and more you start to get use to that fear you have and then it turns into more of an angry wraith like a bull and animal instinct kicks in and you go wild. I'm a big white dude 6'2 220 pounds was my full size at 17 but was about 5'8 in 7th grade which is pretty big 5'10 my freshmen year, Then 6'0 sophomore year then 6'2 at junior. So I always had people challenging me because I was big so it made them feel like the alpha male if they took me out. I lost 1 out of 4 fights my freshman year became a sophomore didn't loose another one since when you fight a lot you learn lol. My techniques where elbows and knees and ground fighting I always took them to the ground and used my size to overpower them then just threw a barrage of knees and elbows until I saw that they weren't struggling. then I get up and see they are bloody and then stand and just walk away lol. You never really knock some one out in a fight it usually ends after the guy gets messed up and then he's in shock and fear and backs down. there was only once I can say I really knocked some one out it was with a head butt top of my skull hit him square in the jaw and he was on the ground for a good 5-7 minuets koed him for a bit lol. But too answer your question yes I grew up a fighter and I know how to defend myself well I never used my abilities to pick on people though, they always engaged me.
