i learned probably like 3 years ago but haven't swam in so long. Only in pools though i'm not really comfortable swimming in lakes, beaches, etc.
My question for you is: do YOU know how to swim?

yeah , I know how to swim, known since I was 4 years old, im not the fastest swimmer ever , but I can swim alright
Yep, I went to lessons when I was younger after people telling me "What if someone pushes you into a river? You'll wish you could swim then" all the time.
I can swim pretty well now and I'm glad I took lessons.
I learned to swim when I was 23. My sister taught me. The funny thing is she was only 14 and could swim like a fish. She asked me for 20 dollars for the lessons and I gave her the money.
I can float without even without trying and its really annoying not being able to go underwater without holding into something, but I can swim though.
Yes I do. I admit I use to go swimming much more in my younger years than I do now, but I do know how to swim and we are teaching our son how to swim currently.
Joining my high school swim team next year
havent swam competitively in a couple of years though, im a bit rusty
I take to water like fish 'cept in winter.
I can swim pretty well although I prefer the breaststoke over the crawl. I can also relax my body very well which allows me to float even while my arms are spread out and feet barely moving. Or, I can gather myself into a ball and float on the water like debris and then straighten out vertically and dive towards bottom. Needless to say, I love snorkeling.
Edit: I have problems doing the butterfly. But then, it's mostly a competitive stroke.
