No, not always. But sometimes the meaning of a sentence transcends the meaning of an individual word.
I like doing crossword puzzles so I learn many different words and meanings that way, but if I am not sure of a word and it's meaning or how it is spelled, I look it up.
Majority of the time, sometimes I know there's a word I'm thinking of that describes something perfectly but I don't remember the actual word.

For example, you could be on a game boasting about how nobody can headshot you and nobody ever has. Whilst you're speaking, someone shoots you in the head.

I also hate it when I know a certain word for something I want to say but I can't remember what it is. Then I have to settle for a boring explanation of the word.mrmusicman247
