The only kind of art I like is video games.
Oh and movies too, but those vary.

If you're interested in art, don't let that deter you. Grade school art ****s are usually a joke. Things tend to get a LOT better once you hit the college level. And even if you never decide to take another art ****ever again, you can get a LOT better simply by studying for yourself.
First and foremost is tons of research. Learning about art, looking at LOTS of art, thinking about it and analyzing it. You don't need a ****oom setting to do that. If you are interested in art, then go to art museums, and then see what art is out there. Identify what you think is good and what you think is bad, then dig deeper. See what people are saying about others' works of art. Start making your own art, and then showing it to people. Granted, art ****s make this a lot easier, since there are mandatory critiques and stuff, but you don't need art ****s to get people to critique your art. The internet is a MARVELOUS tool for helping you to become a better artist. Never has it been easier to see what kind of art people are making. Never has it been easier for you to let your art get seen by THOUSANDS of critics. Find an art forum which seems to have a fair number of people who know their ****. Post some of your art for critique, and really LOOK at what the critics are saying.
Art ****s are usually a joke. Studying art in college is a tad bit better, but that doesn't matter. Even if you consider art majors to be a joke, that still should not stand in your way of becoming better at art. If you're interested at all, you can learn a LOT and get a LOT better simply through practice and independent study. And the internet makes it easier to do this than ever before.
Love art. I love looking at all types of paintings, sculptures and installation art. Non-visual forms of art are great too, but it's really paintings that have my heart.I like to spend my money on art books and reference material.
Too many artists I love to list and remember but the periods ( movements, types, forms, whatever you want to call them )I do love the most are Art Noveau, Neo Cla-s-sicism ( more on the sculptures though ), The Pre-Rapheleites, Romanticism, Renaissance, Victorian, Imperssionism, Surrealism ( and Realism ), Chinese traditional ink art and pop art, to an extent. Hmm... I think that's all...
My favorite art stylez ( the forums won't let me spell it right ) are the chiaroscuro and sfumato way of painting and I have nothing but awe for those that do trompe l'oiel ( hope I spelled that right ). Graphic design art ( I do like vector art a lot )is another of my favorites and I'm starting to love certain photo manipulations. I love manga art in general ( I'm rather fond of the shoujo type to be honest ) even though I get how cartoony/comic and gimmicky and commercial it's considered and how most would probably snub it as a form of 'art'.
Anyway, I guess I'll try listing some of my favorite painters and artists in no particular order. Alphonse Mucha, Caravaggio, Man Ray, Georges Seurat, Deurer, Hieronymous Bosch, Yoshitaka Amano, Magritte, Sir William Waterhouse, Damian Hirst, Aubrey Beardsely, Diego Velasquez, Hokusai, Renoir, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Eugene Delacroix, Henry Wallis ( but only for his one painting :P ), Gustav Klimt, MC Escher, Joseph Wright of Derby and Juan Luna.
Pictures of their work ( I'll put a few witth the smallest pics I can find...don't really want to bore anyone with long loading time )
Man Ray
Caravaggio
Mucha
Damien Hirst
Juan Luna
A Neo c-la-ssi-cism scuplture
( edit: actually I removed it... I was afraid it wouldn't be allowed...I've tried finding another one that doesn't look like it'd get me moderated, but I can't seem to find one except for some busts )
I love Dali as well as most surrealist art. I was actually thinking of getting the elephants tattooed on my back
