Do you like being alone, OT?

Any fellow OT folk have to suffer through the ordeal that is living alone? Unfortunately i have to be close to my job and university, so i had to take out an apartment where i live ON MY OWN. I have just two neighbours. One is a pilot about twice my age who is never here, the other are a middle eastern family who vocally hate white people.

Most days when i'm not working i get up, shower, work out a little, watch some TV.... then hopelessly wonder what else i'll fill the day with before i can go back to bed.

How about you OT? Do you enjoy solitude or get very lonely easily?

I would say I'm a little introverted, unless it's family. Even then...

well i dont live alone, but i like to be alone i my room, after some time siting in front of a monitor gets to me, so i talk to people

i prefer being alone though we are social creatures of course i like company from time to time

well i live on my own at uni i spend alot of time alone but i have friends ringing me all the time and i go out with people so its kind of balanced but i do miss having family around. Though i dont mind being alone.

sometimes, I need to be alone to sort out all what's been happening to me lately. Y'know, to refresh your mind, to get back on track. Just like right now I'm kind of avoding my friends in the club and outside club. I just work out in my sport club and then immediately go strasight home. I even told them that I need some time alone. it's all cool

I like being by myself, and I do actually spend a lot of my time alone. But at the same time I'm also quite a lonely person.......it's one of those weird love hate things.......I enjoy my solitude......but because I've always had socializing difficulties for pretty much my whole life, my social life has always been very limited......so.....I have had the odd case of moderately severe loneliness...

I need some recharge time, but overall I like being around people.

I love being alone. I'm very introverted, and while I get along with people and I like going out, after a certain amount of time I start to feel like a drained battery and I kind of just shut down and need to be by myself.

Alone time is cool - the last thing I would want is someone telling me "Stop playing that uber-game", or "I don't care for that movie you're watching".

I'm paying for the upkeep of my place, freedom to choose your activities without someone complaining is a plus.:P

I'm very very introverted. I'm also rather shy. I need a lot of alone time. Being around people too much really tires me out...even if I like those people. I go to university, so I am around people for several hours per day during the week, and that's plenty. I could never live on-campus. I just need time at home, time to myself. I love my friends and I love being out with them, but I am content with seeing them just on the weekends. t3hrubikscube

Im more introverted than not, and so enjoy having some alone time. I could hang out with my close friends / family and be happy. Most people though...

I only like being alone so much. I highly enjoy the company of others.

I like being alone sometimes in my room but occasionally I need somebody to talk to.
