I graduated from college in May and have been unable to get a job since then. As for free time, I have a ton of it (since I'm not working anywhere) and it is terrible. It's basically wake up, cook breakfast, and then try to kill the remaining waking hours. Unless you are into a depressing and failure filled esteem killer.Pittfan666

8) Hell yeah.

Having all that free time sure does sound tough...

It's not as good as you think it is. Really, its like a waste of existence.

No it isn't. You have all the time in the world to do whatever you feel like. Write a novel, develop something, meet new people, pursue a lifelong dream. I can understand someone complaining about not having a job and therefore struggling with bills and such, but this is the first time I heard that having a lot of free time was a bad thing...

Got my BS in Biology. Was hoping to get out and secure a lab position in a hospital in the Pittsburgh region (UPMC is big out here) or in one of the divisions of the DEP out here were I could work and get some money towards my masters degree. But, hasn't really gone as planned. Basically taking this anatomy and physiology course at community college and hoping to head back to school in the spring to work towards my second BS degree.

[QUOTE="Creshamoon"] :) Trust me, pathetic is a relative term. I've been swallowed by busy-ness. I think the stress has even gotten to me, I've been doing crazy things, lately.Creshamoon

"You know I just realised, the cat and dog never had a wedding!"

I wish. It's so much worse. I've been leaving doors open. All over my apartment. The worst part is that I do it on purpose. I feel nervous unless they're open, like...really nervous.

Claustrophobia perhaps? Sometimes when I have to do really finicky stuff I get really frustrated and then I need a lot of space. It feels a bit like claustrophobia.

Not really, I just like when I get off of work and can go home and just sit around. I don't always feel like I need to do something unless I am bored.

I hope so...but I'm opening everything that can possibly be opened. I have to force myself not to open my front door and my refrigerator.

I love to be busy. If I don't have anything to do, I go to bed. :P Any time of the day.

Yeah I love being busy. If I'm not busy, I'll tend to think about depressing things and mistakes I've made in the past :/.

Would certainly give you easier access to perverts and milk...

Or milk from perverts. I'm questioning posting the above as I click submit.

Well, hopefully everything turns around for you. Many people are sadly in the same position you are. Just keep applying everywhere you can, and most imporantly don't give up.

Good luck in the future.

For the first 5 hours I am busy and then I take a nap for several hours, be busy again or have fun, then sleep.

I've sent a ton of applications out (albeit I've slacked lately) it's just tough when everyone expects you to have 3-5 years experience and a GPA that is amazing. I managed to find a school that would enable me to get a second BS degree in only 2ish years. Hopefully after I get through the 3 semesters of classes and the year of hospital work I will be able to land something in a hospital. So until then I'll continue to live with my parents whom seem to enjoy making life miserable for me via verbal assertations of the apparent failure that I am.

No. I like having time. I hate being rushed, always on the go. I Like having lots of downtime, and leeway to fill my time however I please.

I value my free time. Since I have no financial problems, I enjoy the freedom of doing whatever leisure activity I desire.

I LOVE when there's nothing to think about. When I'm busy I always have stuff in the back of my head. Exams in a week, ugh work tonight, gotta get up early and stuff like that. Having nothing on my mind is the greatest thing.

busy = stress stress = decreased life span.

IT's best to find an inbetween.
