Americanized Chinese food - good whenever I'm hungry, broke and want to get fat Koreanized Chinese food - awesome. Real Chinese food - I don't like some of its menus, but the ones I like, there are great.
Apparently American Chinese food isn't "real" "authentic" Chinese food, so IDK. What I've eaten at Chinese restaurants in the US is damned excellent, no matter what you call it.
I like the soups the most: eggdrop, won ton, and hot n sour along with the dry crackly things and green onion sprinkled on them. I also like the actual dishes such as moo goo gai pan

What kind of dishes are real Chinese food? Hua juan, jiaozi dumplings, and this dish with crocodile meat that was extremely tasty. Just a few dishes I've tried over the years.
I love chinese food, I would eat it everyday if I could. I got so mad when they close the nearest Chinese Buffet place where I live that I went to every week :(
I love it. My favorite dishes are Chicken and Broccoli, General Tsao's Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, and Cold Sesame Noodles.
