I can get along with just about anybody, but there are very few people I actually care to maintain friendships with. Then there are those few people who I just dislike enough that I'm not shy about letting them know it.
Most people these days are generic, into every damn fad, just another clone, just another sheep, un-unique, etc......... in general, most people are fadded, closed/narrow minded dumbasses. But there are odd ones out, and those I like.

I REALLY am trying to get along with people. It's hard, but I'm trying. I'm building as much good karma as I possibly can. Not because I want the same good karma to happen to me, but because I have to. It's just.. right. People drop their wallets, I pick it up and return it to them. Some girl lost her phone and I found it, I texted one of her recent contacts and notified that it will be in the lost and found. Just today I skipped lunch for helping someone with their chem notes right after tutoring. These actions can make more people realize that it takes effort to be liked. But overall, no I don't really like people.

maybe everybody hates everybody because its mainstream and then we all fall into the fad-ish fallacy of thinking we are unique by hating everybody when infact its actually the trendy thing to do currently
No because there is way to many people and it seems like everyday it's getting more crowded and I secretly hope about 1/3 of the population would die off.
Egotism should be a crime as it always causes unnecessary conflict.
I like all people, I fault no one for their indifferences as they are just exercising their right to be what they want. I just want people to reach their full potential and stop wasting their lives away by being followers and procrastinators, and even than its still their right if they choose to be waste of space. To dislike anyone is to project the things you don't like about yourself into others...
Just worry about what you can do and contribute to the world. No one has the right to tell others how to live, If they are not hurting anyone why care?
I can't easily relate to most people I know, and I'm very selective about who I befriend since I really don't want to deal with insensitive, prejudiced "friends" lacking in empathy, who happen to constitute the majority of people I meet. So I have problems with most people.
Despite that, though, I don't mind being nice to most people.
