What I don't get is why people say the game is the same thing over and over again.

All RPGs are essentially the same thing as their predecessors (RPG sequels, at least...), like Final Fantasy and Shin Megami Tensei. Halo 2 was essentially the same game as the original, albeit a few differences. In fact, that goes for all FPSes. 

All sequels, and, in some cases, brand new franchises, and rip-offs of another game/prequel/predecessor.

The games are cool, the fad on the other hand, is not.

i personally think pokemon is the dumbest thing ever created. the original gameboy game was pretty fun but other than that the cards and the current games are STUPID!!!! they are for little kids like 10 years ago. how is it that adults like this stuff? i just dont understand.MichaeltheCM

Only the video games. and lol? Pokemon only for kids? That's a pretty ignorant statement. Pokemon is rated E for everyone for a reason..it's for everyone..name one thing about the video game that makes it "kiddy"Denjin_hadouken

um the show is watched by thousands (maybe millions) of kids all over the world and the last time i remember, i didnt see an adult playing the card game...oh wait thats right! it was kids who were playing! and another thing. its rated E so little kids could play it. The developers had it E b/c they marketed it towards kids. if they marketed the game towards adults they would not have put a game rating of E on it would they? case closed.

Wrong. E =/= for kids only. Do you know the definition of everyone? Go look it up. The game is for everyone. Developers mark a game mature because it is not suited for everyone and only for the mature. Btw how old are you?
