How much do you like Sunday's? As good or better than Saturday?

When I grew up in the 80's and the 90's (I was born in 1978) Sundays really were the pits. I hated Sundays with a passion. What's more, Sunday's in the UK back in those days were a different world. At one time almost everything was shut. With the exception of pubs and probably golf clubs. If you ran out of bread in 80's Britain, tough, you should have bought it Saturday!

This malaise ended in 1994 with the Sunday Trading Act 1994. There a still restrictions, but it's a nice compromise I think.

Then there was school the next day. Plus, 80's and early 90's UK had rubbish TV. Honestly, there wasn't a lot on for the young folk back in the day. Not to mention that Cable TV didn't exist here until the early 90's and Satellite TV was in its infancy. So most people had just four TV channels. Yes, that's right, four!

These days I think of Sunday as a just a much quieter Saturday. At the moment I work mostly from home, so even Monday's don't bother me too much.

How about you?

My schedule is weird, so yes I like Sundays because they are my Saturdays. They're actually my pre-Saturday because I have three-day weekends, so Sundays tend to be my "**** off" day where I don't do anything except maybe hang out, then on Monday and Tuesday when everyone is at work I get to run errands in an empty town haha.

As a kid I hated Sundays because it was the day before you had to go back to school; had to do homework, if I didn't do chores on Saturday I'd have to do them Sunday...honestly I think the US needs to just make a four-day workweek standard.

I like Sundays because I'm free. I have to go to work the next day though, so I'm more a fan of Saturdays where I can stay up late and sleep in however much I want.

Everyday feels the same to me now but back when I was going to school I hated Sundays with a passion. Especially in the evenings I would go into a deep depression thinking about how much I'm going to hate tomorrow it was just the worst.

Sunday's seem to drag on forever, so I would say that I like Sunday's for that reason, because I can sleep more. XD

Never heard of anyone who doesn't like Sundays. The weekends are always nice when you know you took the day off and Sunday is no exception. The only downside of Sunday is no mail day meaning whatever mail you are waiting to be delivered will have to come on Monday.

Same here. On that note, I like Friday even more. Sure I have to work but in the evening I can completely relax and unwind knowing I have not one but two days off.

I love Sundays. Sleep in, and the day seems longer than Saturday.

Sunday can be as great as a Friday when you´re shift-working, so Friday can just be shitty like a Sunday too.

I don't particularly care what day of the week it is anymore. I just mark time by when my next medical appointment is scheduled.

Actually, no. I find Sundays to be boring. Nothing ever happens on a Sunday, and places tend to open late, close early or not open at all. TV also sucks on Sundays; full of either re-runs or politics. Only saving grace is sometimes there's interesting football (soccer) matches on.

I prefer Saturday.

Sunday is the Lord’s day, rest, worship and enjoy a night of going to bed early. I work on Sunday so Tuesday is my Saturday and Wednesday is usually my second day off. But to be honest I do feel that Sunday do drag out.

Really depends. Generally speaking, I didn't like Sundays because I had to go to Sunday school - there was a period I got bullied and struggled, had school on Monday, and dreaded thinking of going to work I hated the next day

I didn't know I would find that many people who used to hate Sundays like I did. But I love Sundays now. It's the Yin to Saturday's Yang, where Saturday is more about doing stuff and going out and Sunday is taking things chill.

Probably less as a child, there was crap on TV Sunday mornings, no cartoons, just televised preachers ranting about how buttsex was a sin. Then we got cable problem solved.

As an adult, depending on shift schedules, Sundays are working days half the time, just another day off on others. Depending on what series I watch sometimes Sundays are good days if there's a show I eagerly anticipate watching.

Sundays are good days to drive places I don't have to worry about traffic being as thick. Free street parking where it might otherwise be metered.

The only downside about Sundays, is Monday comes right after and I wake up at 4am every day during a work week.

I like Saturdays more for that reason, because I don't have to worry about staying up late.
