I'm talking about your Mozarts, Bachs, Strauss', Schuberts and Tchaikovskys.

Some might find it strange for a 24 year oldgamer to be listening to this kind of music considering how much it contrasts with the modern era of technology and so on. My friends would say I should be listening to rap or something. But, I'm sure i'm not the only one here who's got a taste for classical music.

Right now, I'm listening to Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K525 - Mov. 2/4 and K.412 Horn Concerto #1 in D 1st mov. Allegro

There's also Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and Nutcracker suites which I'm checking out.

Well, hip hop is known for sampling clasical pieces :) you should check it out. Its important to not be locked down in one genre.

clasical music has a special mood, I like to listen to it when I want to listen to something different and soothing. Bach is my favorite among the great ones though! Beethoven also has incredible music. Never been a huge fan of Mozart.

Not really. I like some compositions by Grieg, Tschjaikovskij (or however you'd romanise his name) and Beethoven, but never to the point where I'd buy a CD with their music and listen to it all day.

I hate "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik", but I do love classical, just not when I'm gaming, too soothing for games, even the fast 'harsh' stuff.

All the time - Bach mostly.

I have to agree with the Austrian Emperor about Motzart - "too many notes!" :D (He really needed a good editor.)

I've always loved classic music, back when I was 15 I was too scared to listen to it in-case people would think I was weird, whenever someone asked me what I was listening to on my mp3 player I would just lie. Now I'm 23 and it doesn't matter, I love Mozart and Beethoven.

I'm 20 and I listen to it, it's very calming at times, and it's great seeing where a lot of musics roots took place.

Very rarely. I've got a CD with someone playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor on a gigantic church organ - really shakes the walls with the subwoofer. I've got another CD by Anne-Sophie Mutter, playing some truly beautiful classical pieces on violin. And I've got Paganini's 24 Caprices as performed by Itzhak Perlman. Real virtuoso violin playing there.

Then I've got some classical CD's I picked up for a buck or two each, Inventions and Sinfonias by Bach on harpsichord, and some other stuff.

I actually read a biography of Bach once. A really fascinating person with an extremely full life. And quite a fondness for beer as well :D

4 1/2 years later, four seasons is still kinda depressing for me... It's some of the last music my dad ever heard before he died... Which is probably why I don't listen to it anywhere as much as I use to.....though I still do love classical. I just find it so much more uplifting to bang my head to some metal :P

listen to them, study and even try to mimic the baroque style but unsuccesful so far as trying to make polyphonic music is hair pulling.

I like the romantic era of the "music of the masters" more than classical. Chopin. I like bits and pieces of beethoven and one bach cello suite.

yes, but it's definitely not my main thing. I prefer contemporary compesors like Zbiginew Priesner, Max Ricther or Yann Tiersen though. It's tough to sort through it all and find stuff I like though. I prefer more sad/ethereal (sp?) type classical.
