I am getting into alot of Scandinavian bands like Mew, Kent, I'm from Barcelona, The Cardigans, Dungen, Kashmir, and the hush sound. I'm not really into that scandinavian metal though, too dark most of the time.

Sure do. Sigur Ros is probably the most well-known on my foreign band list. Others include random little folk bands from like Iceland and Finland and stuff (similar to Sigur Ros) and then tons of my electro stuff is from all over the world.

Besides British bands (which I don't consider "foreign" since it's still English, however bad), Sigur Ros is the only foreign band I consistently listen to.

Yes, I listen to plenty of European bands. And technically, because I'm Australian, almost every band I listen to is foreign (except for Parkway Drive and a couple of other bands...)

Sigur Ros is a favorite of mine too, their new album was really good. If you like Sigur Ros then you would like Kent, and Dungen. Kent is very radiohead like, they are very melancholy and lots of their music is very beautiful like Sigur Ros. Dungen is more of a psychadelic rock band mixed with some garage and stoner rock.

I listen to some Scottish folk once in a while.

Can't stand their music, though.

My joke failed. :(

But in all seriousness, I really like Scottish folk. If you've heard of the group Silly Wizard, that's the kind of thing I'm talking about.

Like, 3% of the bands I listen to come from my own country, so I listen to many foreign bands. Such countries include Norway, Finland, Sweden, France, Britain, Spain, America, Greece, Germany, etc etc.

Scandinavia puts out some fantastic bands, Iceland for example puts out some great ambient folk and electronica.

Perfect example. To me they are foreign. I don't believe there exists anyone that doesn't listen to foreign bands. That would be almost impossible to do. This topic has me scratching me head.:P

I listen to Japanese songs almost exclusively, with some Korean. That's about it. But that's because I'm learning Japanese, so I need as much input as possible.

Nazxul, Abominator, Destroyer 666, Astriaal, Alchemist, Psycroptic, Gospel of The Horns, Mortal Sin, Armoured Angel, Bestial Warlust (although they are now defunct, they did some alright stuff), and thats probably it. :P Yep, we got slim pickings here. Its a -core fans wet dream though.
